ECOSTER E drain water disinfector

Disinfecting water gets even more effective with ECOSTER E. Thanks to the smart application of several technologies in the electricity-powered ECOSTER E, energy consumption is drastically reduced, with maximum certainty of disinfection.

Thanks to innovative technology, ECOSTER E now uses up to 50% less electricity. A small amount of this savings potential has been used to raise the disinfection rate a little higher: drain water is now heated to 96°C for at least 40 seconds, enough to kill 99.95% of microorganisms. In addition, the cooling system has been improved. Where the current Ecoster disinfectors cool the disinfected water to 5°C above the supply temperature, the upgraded ECOSTER E reduces this to just 2°C above the supply temperature. That means that more heat is extracted from the treated water and returned to the disinfection process.

The ECOSTER E is available in several capacities – 5, 10, 15 and 20 m³/h – and comes standard with the new energy-efficient technology (ΔT = 2°C). The upgraded ECOSTER E is also internet-connected, allowing remote access for monitoring in the event of a suspected malfunction. For businesses that attach less importance to the lower ΔT, we have also developed a variant with a ΔT of 4°C for 5 and 10 m³/h. These systems have a slightly lower purchase price but consume twice as much electricity. Your installer will be able to advise you on which type is most appropriate for your business.
